Black Pearl is one of the largest three-masted sailing yachts in the world, measuring 106.7m (350 ft). Built at Oceanco, she was delivered to her owner in 2018. During the build process, the yacht was originally known as Oceanco Y712 and later as “Project Solar.”

Black Pearl was inspired by the 88m (289 ft) Maltese Falcon. The overall yacht design was developed by Ken Freivokh Design, Gerard Villate, Nigel Gee, Nuvolari Lenard, and others. SDSI created several assembly and production drawings of the crew area for the interior builder Willemsen.
